Healthcare Incident Command Training

The Northern Idaho Healthcare Coalition is sponsoring a free healthcare incident command training, which will be offered in Hayden and Lewiston.  There is no virtual option available.

This training will focus on the first steps of incident command in a healthcare setting.

  • Wednesday, March 18
    • 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. PT
    • Kootenai County Office of Emergency Management – 1662 W Wyoming Ave, Hayden
  • Tuesday, March 24
    • 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. PT
    • Public Health – Idaho North Central District – 215 10th St, Lewiston

Lunch will be provided at both trainings.

The training will be taught by Ken Mitchell, MBA, President and Principal Consultant at Evergreen EOC Solutions.  Ken has 12 years of experience in healthcare emergency management, safety, and environment of care compliance.  He has served in emergency management and safety leadership roles at Providence, Kootenai Health, and MultiCare Health System.

As President of Evergreen EOC Solutions, Ken has assisted many clients to include hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, rural health clinics, behavioral health treatment centers, and federally qualified health centers build robust emergency management, safety, and environment of care programs.  He has helped facilities achieve DNV-GL compliance as well as successfully navigate Joint Commission and CMS accreditation.  He has led facilities to be awarded ISO 9001 accreditation and has been on the Washington State Governor’s healthcare emergency management advisory board.

While the training is provided at no cost, registration is required.
