DESCRIPTION:LEARN TO SAVE A LIFE!\n\n\n\nTwo-Day Interactive ASIST Workshop (Attendance Required Both Days) \nJoin us for a two-day\, in-person workshop on January 12-13 at the Bonner County Administration Building in Sandpoint. This training\, led by knowledgeable facilitators\, is the world’s leading suicide intervention program designed for community members\, educators\, health professionals\, first responders\, veterans\, caregivers\, counselors\, and anyone committed to making a difference. \nWhat You’ll Learn: \n\nRecognize signs of suicidal thoughts\nEngage in open\, direct conversations about suicide\nBuild a safety plan to provide immediate support\nConnect individuals with further help and resources\n\nDetails: \n\nDates: January 12 – 13\nTime: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM daily (includes breaks and lunch)\nLocation: Bonner County Administration Building\, 1500 Hwy 2\, Sandpoint\, ID 83864\nCost: FREE (includes all materials and certification)\nCertification: Participants receive official LivingWorks ASIST certification upon completion\n\nWho Should Attend:\nVeterans\, caregivers\, counselors\, first responders\, healthcare providers\, community members\, and anyone interested in developing lifesaving skills. \nImportant Notes: \n\nThis is an intensive training covering sensitive topics related to suicide\, including discussions about pills\, firearms\, and bridges.\nParticipants must attend both days (16 hours total) to be certified.\nCEUs are available—ask the trainers for more info.\nPlease bring your own pens\, notebooks\, water\, and personal items.
