Our Mission

To strengthen our healthcare partners’ ability to plan for and respond to emergencies and disasters throughout the 10-county region of northern Idaho through information sharing, relationship building, collaboration, trainings, and exercises.

Our Vision

To ensure all healthcare partners in the northern 10 counties of Idaho are prepared to respond effectively to any disaster or emergency, ensuring that the public has continuous access to essential healthcare services.

Northern Idaho Public Information Network (NIPIN)

The Northern Idaho Public Information Network (NIPIN) is a group of Public Information Officers (PIOs) who network to share knowledge and support each other during emergencies and disasters. Through collaboration and communication, NIPIN strengthens the region’s ability to provide timely, accurate, and coordinated public information when it matters most.
