SUMMARY:ICS-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents
DESCRIPTION:This 3-day course is designed for those emergency response personnel who would function in a Command or General Staff position during a large\, complex incident or event\, or personnel who are or would likely be part of a local or regional Incident Management Team during a major incident\, whether single agency\, multiagency or Unified Command. \nThe course will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. each of the three days.

SUMMARY:ICS-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents
DESCRIPTION:This course provides training and resources to personnel who require advanced knowledge and application of the Incident Command System. The course expands upon information covered in the ICS/IS-100 and ICS/IS-200 courses. \nCOURSE OBJECTIVES\nUpon completion of this course\, students will be able to:\n• Describe how the NIMS command and management component supports the management of expanding incidents.\n• Describe the incident/event management process for supervisors as prescribed by the Incident Command System.\n• Implement the incident management process in a simulated Type 3 incident.\n• Develop an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident. \nAUDIENCE\nThis course is intended for individuals and field (ICS) personnel who may be assigned supervisory roles during Type 1\, 2\, and 3 incidents. \nPREREQUISTES\nICS/IS-100\, ICS/IS-200 (or ICS/IS-2200)\, ICS/IS-700\, & ICS/IS-800
